Federico de Montalvo spoke at the World Meeting of National Committees on Bioethics in the German capital

In addition to being a professor in the Department of Common Disciplines in the Faculty of Law (ICADE) and Director of the Official University Master´s Degree Program in Access to the Legal Profession, Federico de Montalvo is also Vice-President of the Committee of Bioethics in Spain. Following from the latter of his roles, he recently attended the 11th World Meeting of National Committees on Bioethics (Global Summit 2016), which was held in Berlin under the auspices of the Ethics Committee of Germany, UNESCO and the World Organization of Health, and which was inaugurated by the President of the Federal Republic of Germany (in the photo). The themes which were treated during the meeting centered around the new challenges which are being created to health care issues by the mass migrations. De Montalvo participated by offering reflections on the problems surrounding vaccinations in modern society in spite of the fact that they represent one of the most important achievements in the area of health care.
