Following the negotiation and approval of the Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration (GCM) on December the 10th and 11th, 2018, the diocesan Delegation of Migrations-Asti, the Vicariate of Social Pastoral and Innovation, the Board for Hospitality and the Migrant Network with Rights calls this colloquium talk.
The objective is to learn about this new global framework that will help to create spaces for dialogue, cooperation, integration and favour social cohesion. The Pope is actively involved in this process and encourages the Church and the citizenship to get involved and collaborate in the creation of a fairer society in order to give real answers to the millions of people who are everyday forced to leave their homes.
The colloquium will take place on February the 1st at 18:20 in the Alpha and Omega Hall (c / La Pasa, 3) with Monica Prieto, a sociologist from the Episcopal Migration Commission.
