  • Proof of notable performance in the subjects studied by the student up until the date on which the grant is awarded.

The Master's Degree in Finance Direction, in collaboration with the sponsor, will assess the applications and select potential candidates. The 2 grants will be awarded between February and March (or sooner if requested by the sponsor). In order to receive a grant, students must be up to date with payment for the Master's degree and show excellent academic development up until the grant is awarded.

The award criteria are: 60% Master's Degree academic record (first term); 20% academic record for all university study; and 20% accredited level of English (test at ICADE BS). Additional points will be added to the resulting score according to family income. The list of candidates, duly ranked according to the former criteria, will be presented to the sponsor who will make the final decision. The sponsor could request any other additional test to the candidates.

Recipients of these grants will not be eligible to apply for any other financial aid, except for grants covering maintenance or accommodation.

Banco Popular will contribute to the student’s development by offering them an internship. In this case, the student will not participate in other internships until the labor relationship with the sponsor company has come to an end. If the granted student does not complete the internship established in the initial agreement between the company and the student, the University and the Bank reserves the right to request that the grant money is returned.

The Master's Degree in Finance Direction reserves the right to request any documentation deemed necessary to verify the information provided by the applicant in order to award the grant.
